Privacy Policy
Updated at 2026-03-09
IonClaw ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data in relation to our applications and services.
This Privacy Policy applies to our applications and services. By accessing or using our Service, you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.
Data we do not collect
We do not collect your personal data. We do not use Firebase, analytics SDKs, or any third-party services that collect user data. We do not collect names, emails, usage patterns, session data, or any information that identifies you.
Crash and diagnostic data
When you use our apps on iOS or Android, crash and diagnostic data may be sent to Apple or Google through their native, built-in mechanisms (e.g. crash reporting in the App Store and Play Store). We do not receive or process this data ourselves; it is handled entirely by the platform according to Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies. You can manage crash reporting in your device or app store settings.
Definitions and key terms
To help explain things as clearly as possible in this Privacy Policy, every time any of these terms are referenced, they are strictly defined as:
- You: a person or entity that uses IonClaw applications or services.
- Application: IonClaw's app(s), available on supported platforms (e.g. iOS, Android, desktop).
- Service: the service provided by IonClaw as described in the relative terms (if available) and on this platform.
- Device: any internet-connected device such as a phone, tablet, or computer that can be used to run IonClaw and use the services.
- Country: where IonClaw or the owners/founders of IonClaw are based, in this case Brazil.
- Company: when this policy mentions "Company," "we," "us," or "our," it refers to IonClaw.
- Local Data: data generated by the app and stored only on your device (e.g. preferences, session state). It is not sent to us.
Sale of Business
In the event of a sale, merger, or other transfer of all or substantially all of the assets of IonClaw, or if we discontinue our business or file or have filed against us a petition in bankruptcy, reorganization or similar proceeding, we reserve the right to transfer any information we hold to a third party, provided that the third party agrees to adhere to the terms of this Privacy Policy. As we do not collect personal data, this would not include user personal information.
Affiliates
We do not share your personal data with affiliates. For purposes of this Privacy Policy, "Corporate Affiliate" means any person or entity which directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by or is under common control with IonClaw. If we ever did share information with affiliates, it would be in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Brazil without regard to its conflict of laws provision. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in connection with any action or dispute arising between the parties under or in connection with this Privacy Policy except for those individuals who may have rights to make claims under Privacy Shield, or the Swiss-US framework.
The laws of Brazil, excluding its conflicts of law rules, shall govern this Agreement and your use of the app. Your use of the app may also be subject to other local, state, national, or international laws.
By using IonClaw or contacting us directly, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, you should not use our app or services. Continued use of the app, direct engagement with us, or following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy that do not significantly affect the use or disclosure of your personal information will mean that you accept those changes.
Your Consent
By using our app or services, you consent to this Privacy Policy. We do not collect personal data; any crash or diagnostic data is handled by Apple or Google as described above.
Links to Other Websites
This Privacy Policy applies only to the Services. The Services may contain links to other websites not operated or controlled by IonClaw. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or opinions expressed in such websites, and such websites are not investigated, monitored or checked for accuracy or completeness by us. Please remember that when you use a link to go from the Services to another website, our Privacy Policy is no longer in effect. Your browsing and interaction on any other website, including those that have a link on our platform, is subject to that website's own rules and policies. Such third parties may use their own cookies or other methods to collect information about you.
Local Data Storage
IonClaw may store data only on your device (e.g. preferences, session state, cached content) to improve performance and functionality. This data is not sent to us. You can clear it through your device settings or by uninstalling the app. We do not store personally identifiable information on your device in an insecure manner.
Managing Local Data Storage
You can manage or clear locally stored data through your device's settings or by uninstalling the app. Clearing stored data may affect app functionality or cause you to lose saved preferences.
In-App Purchases
Our app may offer in-app purchases. All payment transactions are processed securely by the app store platform (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information such as credit card details. All billing and payment processing is handled directly by Apple or Google according to their respective privacy policies and terms of service. We only receive confirmation of successful purchases to provide you with the purchased items within the app, when applicable.
Kids' Privacy
We do not collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13. If you believe a child has shared personal data with us through the app, please contact us; we do not maintain user data servers for this purpose.
Changes To Our Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Unless otherwise required by law, we will notify you (e.g. through our Service or this page) before changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should stop using the app.
Third-Party Services
We may display, include or make available third-party content (including data, information, applications and other products services) or provide links to third-party websites or services ("Third-Party Services").
You acknowledge and agree that IonClaw shall not be responsible for any Third-Party Services, including their accuracy, completeness, timeliness, validity, copyright compliance, legality, decency, quality or any other aspect thereof. IonClaw does not assume and shall not have any liability or responsibility to you or any other person or entity for any Third-Party Services.
Third-Party Services and links thereto are provided solely as a convenience to you and you access and use them entirely at your own risk and subject to such third parties' terms and conditions.
Information about General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), please note that we do not collect or process your personal data. We do not store conversations or user data on our servers. Any crash or diagnostic data is handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We respect GDPR principles and do not collect personal data that would fall under its scope.
What is GDPR?
GDPR is an EU-wide privacy and data protection law that regulates how EU residents' data is protected by companies. We do not collect personal data, so the main obligations under GDPR (regarding data we hold) do not apply to our app in the same way. We still take your privacy seriously and do not use Firebase or other analytics that would collect your data.
Individual Data Subject's Rights
Because we do not collect or store your personal data, there is no data held by us to access, port, or delete. If you have questions about data that might be sent to Apple or Google (e.g. crash reports), please refer to their privacy policies or contact us.
California Residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), we disclose: we do not collect personal information from you. We do not sell personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. If you have questions about your privacy rights in California, you may contact us; we do not maintain user data to access or delete.
California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)
We do not collect personal information as defined under CalOPPA. We do not sell your personal information. If you have questions about these rights, please contact us.
