Data we do not collect

Crash and diagnostic data

When you use our apps on iOS or Android, crash and diagnostic data may be sent to Apple or Google through their native, built-in mechanisms (e.g. crash reporting in the App Store and Play Store). We do not receive or process this data ourselves; it is handled entirely by the platform according to Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies. You can manage crash reporting in your device or app store settings.

To help explain things as clearly as possible in this Privacy Policy, every time any of these terms are referenced, they are strictly defined as:

Local Data Storage

IonClaw may store data only on your device (e.g. preferences, session state, cached content) to improve performance and functionality. This data is not sent to us. You can clear it through your device settings or by uninstalling the app. We do not store personally identifiable information on your device in an insecure manner.

You can manage or clear locally stored data through your device's settings or by uninstalling the app. Clearing stored data may affect app functionality or cause you to lose saved preferences.

In-App Purchases

Our app may offer in-app purchases. All payment transactions are processed securely by the app store platform (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information such as credit card details. All billing and payment processing is handled directly by Apple or Google according to their respective privacy policies and terms of service. We only receive confirmation of successful purchases to provide you with the purchased items within the app, when applicable.

Kids' Privacy

We do not collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13. If you believe a child has shared personal data with us through the app, please contact us; we do not maintain user data servers for this purpose.

Information about General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), please note that we do not collect or process your personal data. We do not store conversations or user data on our servers. Any crash or diagnostic data is handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We respect GDPR principles and do not collect personal data that would fall under its scope.

What is GDPR?

GDPR is an EU-wide privacy and data protection law that regulates how EU residents' data is protected by companies. We do not collect personal data, so the main obligations under GDPR (regarding data we hold) do not apply to our app in the same way. We still take your privacy seriously and do not use Firebase or other analytics that would collect your data.
